Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast widely regarded as one of the greatest athletes. The 2016 Olympics took place at Rio de Janeiro and Biles became the U.S.'s only female gymnast ever to win 4 gold medals. Biles also took home the world championship for all-around three times consecutively (2013-15). Biles lived at Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area after she and her younger sister Adria had been adopted by parents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone was first introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman when she was just six years old. She stayed at Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles was awarded a gold medal in floor exercises and also a bronze in vault during the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010 before breaking into the elite gymnastics in the year 2011. In just two short years, she became the most successful athlete in her discipline. Biles's consistent, exuberant personality and the level of challenge for her four eventsvault uneven bars balance beam floor exercise and floor exercises -- helped to set her apart.
