Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on the 28th of October, 1967 as the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was the first Roberts to move to Atlanta. At an early age, her father was interested in theatre. As a student in Emory University he appeared in numerous productions at and off the campus. He joined the Air Force in 1953. While being stationed at Biloxi Mississippi, he was a part of a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was as well in the air force. They got married in 1955. Their child, Eric Anthony, was born in the year 1956. In 1957 the couple left the air force and Walter enrolled at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. The family relocated in 1960 into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou began producing a children's television program in Decatur, Georgia called Bum Bum and His Buddies. They financed the production themselves. They also founded the Actors and Writers Workshop in that same year. It lasted six years. They welcomed in 1965 two more children into their lives: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
