Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28 1967 in the home of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is the fourth Roberts generation living in Atlanta, beginning with her farmer great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts. Her father was enthusiastic about theatre at an early age. When he was studying at Emory University, he performed on stage in a number of shows in Atlanta. Following his air force service, in 1953 he appeared in an airforce production in Biloxi along with Betty Lou Bredemus. Both married in 2005 and welcomed their first child, Eric Anthony in 1956. Walter was an undergraduate at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957 they left the airforce and Walter started his education at Tulane. The family relocated in 1960 to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working with Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. The year 1964 was when Walter along with Betty Lou began production on a local Saturday morning children's TV show known as Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded on their own. In the following year, they established The Actors and Writers Workshop which operated for six years. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also called Lisa) as well as Julia (also called Julie) in this time.
