Rosie Huntington

RosieQueen Latifah was born Dana Elaine Owens on March 18th, 1970 in Newark, New Jersey. Latifah was the second child born to Lance and Rita Owens. She is most well-known for her political involvement, acting skills and ability to rhyme. When she was 8 years older when she was eight, a Muslim cousin gave her the nickname Latifah which means "delicate and sensitive" in Arabic. Latifah sang in the choir of the Shiloh Baptist church located in Bloomfield, New Jersey. She had her first public performance when she sang "Home" as one of two Dorothys in a production of The Wizard of Oz. Latifah's mother was a catalyst for her involvement; she was constantly in touch with the students as well as the music. Mark James, a local disc jockey who is also popularly known as D.J., was invited to the party. Mark the 45 King to perform at a dance school.
